Offshoring to cheaper locations like India has been going on for YEARS! Thousands/millions of American tech jobs have been eliminated and sent to India. You must not have been to the Indian tech cities. They are where all the American jobs ended up landing. The fact that USAA might or will be headed that way is hardly surprising. It's a trend that many, many companies have done. Many American managers have had to train their replacements and then get eliminated. You can never argue with the bean counters on this - 1 American job pays for 4-5 jobs in India. Meaning, they can have 4-5 workers instead of you. These are hungry Indian tech workers who would do anything they are asked. You can never win this argument against Amala, Wayne Peacock or any bean counter.

Anyone who wants former guy back in office is seriously missing a ton of brain cells and is no better than the execs they so despise.

HR’s role at USAA is DE&I - Discrimination, Equity and Inclusion. Tamla is only worried about hiring black people and/or her black girlfriends to bring into the toxic cesspool that she has made HR. USAA is more worried about meeting quotas for blacks, indians, etc instead of finding valuable talent, regardless of what they look like. Why you think Tiana Carter is an AVP over HR? Because she is a black woman who is Tamla’s friend. Then I sit and listen to Tara Lewling go and and on about how we need to be worried about accommodating to Gen Z and all these ridiculous radical leftist ideas people are drilling into their heads. Why? USAA doesn’t give a sh-t about the employees they currently have; HR certainly doesn’t. Gen Z isn’t the majority of the workforce or USAA’s workforce, but that’s all HR and “DE&I” are worried about. Just goes to show you how sh---y the management at USAA is and completely out of touch with reality. Tamla has even said that white people aren’t going to get us “there”….racist much? Tamla is the definition of a discriminatory, toxic, racist bi--h

HR’s role is to protect to company, it’s naive and inexperienced to believe otherwise.
USAA is a private company, you want the American government to step in to make hiring decisions for a company in a niche market? Think that through for just a second.

Most HR departments are about protecting the companies so called vision and not employees. I call that discrimination.
