Calling layoffs adjustments... What are they even trying to do? They are just raising the level of frustration here and nothing else.

USAA is displacing current employees for the bottom line. When they do that it can cause mental distress such as anxiety and depression. Companies need to be held accountable. If they let go anyone they should not be able to replace them for a period of time. Punish them. Thats why USAA is where it is. They broke the rules and took shortcuts and got fined. Thats on leadership. Every 1st and 2nd line part of management should be gutted before one employee was let go.
