Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

After $8M penalty I would expect...

  1. For sure not too many raises. If any at all.
  2. Watering mouths over whose a 3.
  3. Possibly a new CEO to change things up... Someone with new reinventing the wheel ideas on cutting.
  4. For sure eventually... Mandates to return back to the office so we can "collaborate better"... cough cough... So they can collaborate better on who they can cut by looking over the wall. Lets be real folks... Did you really think it was going to last? It's not about being cheaper. It's about full control.
  5. Look out ChatGBT... As soon as they can push it. Don't worry... It will be to help you do your job more efficiently.
  6. More uncertainties on just WTF is going on around here!

DXC can’t automate anything. The big push last year was one of scripts to do simple repeatable tasks. No foresight in who is going to support these scripts ongoing.

DXC is a lost cause. Leave if you can and if you can’t keep looking as something will come up.

The new technology register is a joke , how can DXC support so many products. Pick a few and create offerings around them
