Space cowboy. That was a drop the mic post.
The only tears I have seen lately at Old NRM is when some lucky Ba s@ard gets the Golden Package. Then they are skipping out the door for the last time with Tears of Joy! In point of fact it’s very demoralizing for those left behind. I would call someone for help but in the name of “Cost Savings” some faceless management rube took all the d@ m n phones. Oh well
Well no, those days are gone but replaced by different forms of abuse. It goes like this....
"You will do this, do you agree?"
"We can't really do it the way you want for (cost or design limitations), how about we do it this way?"
"No, we demand you not only do it, you do it our way or the highway!"
The old days would have probably resulted in loud arguments in person, possibly even leading to 60 yr old Phds leaving in tears or personal lawsuits but since we are now doing this in Teams or Zoom, we have situations where things either get dropped or done on the sly. It's all passive aggressive and everybody can claim the reasons things don't get resolved is due to remote conferencing communication.
What forms of torture and humiliation are taking place? I want to compare notes from working at TCO in the early days. Compared to those days everyone at LCO seems really nice. Until you see 60 year old PHD's run out of meetings in tears, consultants called in to mitigate conflicts between warring divisions at each others throats, and personal lawsuits being filed for unjust treatment you haven't yet reached peak sadism.
They also bully people at RHO, it's getting old.
Not surprising,LCO is only design center, the central of Seagate universe. LCO house the infinity stones and Thanos everywhere in Longmont...lol..
It's the Seagate way.You have to be arrogant, vindictive and have a bullying mentality.
Not classifying everyone but who ever I interact seem that way why is it so???
