Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

Goodbye anyone with gray hair!

Is it a coincidence that the oldest members of my sales team with the most seniority were the ones who were let go?

Is it strange to anyone else that, in some markets, the company can't find people to apply for positions, and yet the company's solution to this hiring crisis is to create more openings by displacing experienced employees and to lower the benefits for any new hires? People weren't flocking to Mondelez when employees received benefits. Why would they sign up now?

It's too bad our RDR, Jennifer, wasn't let go. There are several Burger Kings around her in Minnesota that are looking for shift managers. If she worked hard, she could eventually learn how to be a manager.

Seniors will not make it in the fast paced work environment.

It's a shame that all these "grey haired people" don't ban together and go after Mondelez for age discrimination, it would be a slam dunk and any attorney would gladly take a class action law suit with little to no retainer.
Our RDR I think still wears diapers, childish and immature! Zero idea how to manage, they wouldn't be qualified for Burger King or McDonalds!
