To the person or persons who are coming into this Lumen Layoff website to defend the dying company; you're an id--t. First, you don't receive brownie points or a raise for posting support to Lumen. Unless you are emailing screenshots of your remarks to Kate, hoping for Lumen stars. Secondly, this is the LumenLayoff website. Not the Lumen CEO tinder site. Or best chapstick to use for your favorite CEO. Third, what is it with this McDonald's reference? No one goes from CenturyLink to Goldman Sachs. Every one of our competitors is hiring and if you're a premise technician; then you were just hired off the street. By the way McDonald's share price is $272.98, Lumen is $3.23. I wouldn't mind working at McDonald's for security and free burgers. Definitely not saying you should stop posting but you should read the room and stop fantasizing over Kate. Eventually, we will all be unemployed from Lumen. Might be sooner than later.

How is people hearing the truth wishing people bad luck? I don’t mean to harm anyone. Just because it doesn’t align with your beliefs? However, I’m not gonna bloat and defend this company whatsoever! They had all of the talent to be successful and blew it over and over again! The Company failed you, not the people on this post! Don’t be delusional to these buffoons! Update your resume and move on! You will thank me someday!

People who wishes harm to another. In this case Lumen. They are at their happiest when they see others are suffering and unhappy.

This is a Lumen Layoff site. Not sure how you can spin a "layoff" into a positive.
Also, I am not the one who started this thread but I have been coming to this site and only see negative posts. Which I can relate and have no objections to free speech.
Did you have anything positive to provide about Lumen?
Maybe you can start a post about something positive in the company?
No one should be unemployed. Everyone should be working. If you have 20+ years with Lumen, then a management package of 6-9 months of pay, or an occupational UNION package would be an excellent exit and rebirth at a new sustainable company.
The employee has no control over what upper management does. All we can do is sit back and watch things go backwards. Sell off assets, halt the dividend, change CEOs, lie to the investors and freeze all advancements. How many more changes are coming?
People you work for are unsure and scared of getting laid off. No one should be working for a company with that level of fear. I have seen the best employees in this company lose their jobs because of mismanagement. We have to sit back and hope for a bonus payout with no raises (ever). What appears to be negative are only facts presented in a coy way. Unemployment is coming to everyone at Lumen. The goal is to sell off assets, place fiber (then release those employees) and contract out all work. Honestly, I am not going to close my eyes and plug my ears and pretend that Lumen is soaring globally. Instead I will watch as more of my peers mass exodus the company and that work is placed into my inbox.
