Lousy pay, lousy benefits, lousy job security, lousy management, lousy work environment, lousy culture... I could continue listing the bad things about working at Lumen but if you ask me to name just one thing that's good about this place I couldn't think of it. Smart people are leaving in droves. Hopefully, I'll be able to get out within a month or two, as well.

Comma in wrong place, was pointing out the positive but "job security not feeling it". The main negative of not feeling some sort of security outweighs the positives was pointing out. I'm not delusional, just bummed.
Umm. No job security here. Maybe in India for Lumen. But the horse back ride to work will be rough. Hard to believe new hires don't get pensions, have a higher insurance and not grandfathered into the previous contract perks. Also, to get the full VSPP package, you need so many years (15 I believe). To get the full vacation time off you need 25 years. Annually, we have been getting a .50 cent raise (wow?). If you are new to the company; welcome and good luck. Eventually, you will learn that others working for our competitors, cities, counties or power companies are making 2x more and with retirement + longevity / job security. Fiber is halted until we reset, while competition is placing fiber. Stock down to $3.06. Hurray??
Job security?! Lmao! You’re delusional my friend!
"lousy pay", $35 an hour, "lousy benefits" health care, over a month of paid time off, almost all holidays paid, job security, nope not feeling it, I like the work I do, it's a shame upper management doesn't listen to the front line workers who are installing the product.
Waaaa
Don't stay longer for my benefit. Git!
Only good thing was the friends I made
Still feels the same. Smoke & mirrors while they continue to chop
