March Layoffs?

Now that STI is behind us, will AIG focus on Layoffs? What Groups will be Targeted?

To the one that wrote "One side firing other side hiring like Clint Eastwood movies" , Accenture annunced 19k layoff worldwide so don't count on that. Also, accentue is desperately trying to sort/optimize AIG processes and automize everything, but it's a huge fiasco.

Gordon Browne has gone to Allianz. With the news of Allianz and AGCS merging back together there is a rumor Kean is off there too.

RIFs will target GI Ops as they combine the Operations teams. May not be March but it will definitely be 2nd quarter. IT has been cut so significantly already with prior years RIFs and massive attrition with no backfilling that it would be reckless to cut any more. So few employees even left.

The poster said 500 per week until end of March. That's around 2000 total. Out of How many employees in GI now? Don't appear to be as bad as some of the previous ones...but who knows

To the person posted 500 a day till end of March that is more than 15K+, is that realistic with a workforce around 35K+ to 40K+. How many people does GI have to layoff 15K+ and without any announcements …

To the poster that indicated "GI Ops", curious if you have anymore insight or information. I did hear managers were told that ops didn't perform well in 2022 but haven't heard anything about anyone being laid off as of yet. Just wondering if anyone had any more information on that. Bonus points if you know anything specifically about AIG Travel ;)

Layoffs started since 1st. They are targeting 500 per week. Will continue till end or March on a daily basis.

10% of workforce is being aimed to be laid off. Accenture has promised to take 2% in. While the rest should be thinking about employee laid off benefits.

Layoffs have started. One side firing other side hiring like Clint Eastwood movies. Management ultimate goal use age discrimination, gender discrimination and race discrimination to get rid of employees. This was discussed at management level to meet numbers for this year starting first quarter. You might soon see cases against this company.
