How many layers of management does it take Intel to deliver a competitive product?

CEO —>3 to 5 layers —> you and other 8+ engineers or IC’s

see how many teams with less than 5 IC‘s should be restructured like merged into other teams.

Intel created layers in order to protect its IP. The IP is safe if nobody knows much of anything. Now there isn't much that's worth protecting.

More managers needed with more thugging capabilities with excellent skills is creating unnecessary ARs with no true understanding of the real problem.

Standard rule is 4 levels CEO -> VP or SVP -> GM or technical assistance -> team managers with size of 8-10 employees. If an org is large possible to have more GMs but not additional layers , GM1 GM2 in parallel. Not a management chain of 9 people reporting bottom to top
