Strike while there’s still a lot out there in the market, especially the fully remote jobs. Who knows how long they’ll be available with this job market.

If they are not planning on exiting Florida, why then did they not add surplus to Castle Key (their Florida subsidiary) this week and allow a potential AM Best downgrade etc? A few years ago, they would have added the surplus needed no questions asked.
Is that why they have been offering overtime to ldu for so long? Because they stopped hiring? Because they knew this was coming?
Allstate is not leaving Florida. With underwriting guidelines and expanded market the risk isn't to shareholders. Yes Florida is not great but they are not leaving the state.

LAT is there to help the off shore workers make liability decisions. Everyone knows that. AI will assist the foreign workers and more jobs will head overseas. They did it before and they will do it again. It’s starting in Florida since it’s an easy red state target and large enough to have an impact.
