Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Wilson to retire

word out of Illinois is Wilson is stepping down at the end of 2023 based on the BOD's concerns over the massive monetary losses at the end of 2022. Who will step in and finalize the sale of this dismal company if it's not done in the next 10 months

@1syn, I have a subscription and there is nothing to see there. There is an ten year old article about him leaving CF, which has nothing to do with our BoD.

How do you know it’s “fake news”? Do you spend time in the bars with TW or something?

word out of Illinois is that once Wilson retires, Allstate business will take off, so much that all of the buildings in Northbrook will be full again, and more buildings will be built.

Oh.
Say what?
Demolition?
Come on, that must be just a rumor.

Oh god this Carl Ichan nonsense again is about as useless as mentioning a business publication but not providing any actual proof or links.

Must be the same poster as the mystery Forbes article

Crains article or not the fact that Tom Wilson is STILL here after the company lost 1.4 BILLION in 2022 is more surprising. The short term solutions to prop up the stock price to give the illusion, Allstate is doing well to outsiders have just about run out. Given the results of Q1 2023 Tom has run out of magic tricks and the house cards are falling. You should talk about WHEN Tom is leaving not IF because the softer side of Allstate is going by the way of Sears.

Can I suggest to you a Crains Chicago Business subscription. There you will find an announcement of CF INDUSTRIES WILSON CEO to retire. Also they report much more about the workings of Allsate better than any other publication.
