That is why a set of people got 'unexpected 2s' and Optum will let go all of them phase wise. one set got in Feb, March already and again on April 6th probably, and again.....!!

Don't listen to the nonsense here. They have already started laying off the 2's, and more to come in April and June.

To the one that said "spoken like an unethical optum leader..." to you I say "spoken like a true bitter employee that thinks their sh-t doesn't stink but you are probably the problem! Go somewhere else, please!"

Spoken like a no-skill, worthless corporate simp who works either in management or HR that spent his whole life yes-manning and towing the corporate line.

@5nnk+1lsZiD3d- you hit it right on the nails. HR published guidelines are for CYA and never any checks/balances. If unethical practices are considered the norms how could leaders can expect staffs to align if they embraced their values of being ethical ? Staffs are set up for failures from the beginning .. check out the other post on OotumrRX being investigated..

The Bell curve originated from the jackarsses at IBM and was adopted at UHG. F the bell curve. HR has both CLL and published info on what each levels 1-5 are for each type of employee. Grading on a bell curve vs how an employee does against those published goals absolutely is unethical.

Hey unethical, if 10% of your organization is a 1 or a 2, they should fire the managers

Being rated on a bell curve versus a true performance scale is as unethical and unjust as it gets

You mean that your performance review was a 2?

It doesn't mean that you'll get laid off. Common reviews really should be on a bell curve....

10% of employees a 1 or 2
80% a 3
10% a 4 or a 5

Many people, especially those that are new will be a 2. I know many people that were 2's are are still here. I wouldn't worry too much. <3
