You are living on a different planet.

The only ones who are taking big pay are Mike and the ex Accenture gang, 50% raises and paid in millions.

So I guess you are referring to them "as ki-ling this company" with thier big overheads. Maybe they can take big cuts to save the company.

The rest of the people get paid bare minimum.

Is DXC a charity?, Do you want expect everyone to work for free?

@8tul+1lq5nGAd - this entitlement mentality is what ki-led this company. Keep doing the same and run this company to the ground. Which is what you folks did to most of the countries anyways for the last two centuries.

Your just stupid your working for free for the last 48 years.

If you haven't had a bonus, good pay, or overtime for that many years you must be Saad loner with nothing better to do.

Others have lives and families so need $$$$$.

Get real.

Stop being such babies ! I have been in call for the last 48 years in I. It goes with the profession. No overtime pay, No official comp time. You guys on the other side of the pond are lame, grow a pair!

And it's id--ts like you @4sng+ that give DXC leaders the belief they can treat staff like dirt. On-call is an right pain and the only reason to do it is because the financial benefit outweighs the inconvenience. There should be a rewarding standby rate and excessive reward if called out and it should be passed directly on to the customers so that they value the service too.

Stop being such babies ! I have been in call for the last 13 years at DXC / CSC. It goes with the profession. No overtime pay, No official comp time, but with a decent manager you get time off as needed

Can someone explain what this policy even is? I've heard from an old colleague that overtime claims are not being honoured even though the work is expected of people

The id--t that raised this change needs their head checking unless they put a halt on it.

Its going to backfire massively.

If I gets multiple calls or regular call outs I won't be working the next day.

Its going to cause a lot off stress anxiety, and sickness so will be a loss.

In the meantime I'm looking to go if this goes ahead.

This is a joke I've now been called out on a number of incidents for various accounts I now support at the same time.

Cant fix multiple things at once so the service is going to suffer. As usual nothing has been thought through, just cost cutting.

They have overloaded the broken camel Putting me as single person on call supporting multiple accounts!

Thinking of coming off call and also leaving, they always seem to want more and more for less money. Sad company, sad future.

notably, the standby rate (legacy CSC) that is supposed to be reviewed every year I believe, is still the same. Difficult to understand how a conclusion could be drawn that it should not be increased even without an energy crisis. They could also find themselves falling foul of minimum wage regulations when they have a 15 min response time.

In any event, this change is most definitely a downgrade as some legacy T&Cs stipulate a minimum of 2 hours for being called out.

Blatantly obvious that harmonising the standby rate is a different kettle of fish altogether...

Order! Order! Order! We shall debate about this in the next parliament session. In the meantime the learned gentlemen from Paddington can move to the next topic.

Instead of just harmonizing benefits (i.e. cutting) they now "upwards-harmonize" just to make it obvious that everything is now better, even if in reality it's not.

I've never understood doing on call, the compensation never made up for the inconvenience.

What's enhanced in it... For ex-CSC it seems as if it's got worse.
If anything it reduces some groups not following a procedure, that hasn't been updated in over twenty years.
