I never get tired of 'It Was A Good Day' references or jokes or anything like that. It's just, you know, keeping my biggest hit alive. Nothing wrong with that.

A player hater is just somebody who hates you because you’re fly. They hate your flyness about you. A player hater is like, ‘Why he got two girls and I can’t even get one? Why he got to have five cars?’ It’s like they hate the player in you.

It’s obvious, they really didn’t think through the employment law in Europe and the need to consent to a pay cut. Almost nobody in Europe signed up for the pay cut. They couldn’t continue with this it if only American employees where loosing pay so had to back down and reverse the actions taken. They are reversing it in Q3/Q4 as that’s when the big layoff is going to be announced. To make similar cost savings to the pay cut would require 6K layoffs.

They will use the tried and true method of compensating you with hope.

Worthless stock schemes, or bonuses that disappear, or whatever they think of next. Anything but cash in your paycheck next week.

When faith is restored in the eyes of Wall Street then I might believe it.

I’ll believe it when I see it myself. Just trying to make it to rule of 75 in one year.

The guy whose picture is at the head of the article has a history of big talk and bravado but has actually delivered very little. Certainly hasn't lived up the hype associated with his return. Submit another post next February (2024) and tell us the real story of what happens. I can't wait to see the "reimagined" compensation system referenced in the article that will get rolled out next January. Maybe they can restore the base salaries because they will have laid off enough people by Q3. I also like how the story only references executives taking base pay cuts. They kind of missed that it impacts people all the way down to grade 7. Not to mention that everyone missed out on the bonuses. My vote is this is just more talk to try and slow down the exodus of the people they need to keep.
