90% or more of the team leads or management has zero qualifications except they can drive a forklift. No management skills, experience, education. Just a fork lift license.

I agree with you 100 percent, Anonymous!
We are in charge of our attitudes.
I'm almost at that point of leaving because this whole " I'm doing great" mantra isn't working for me anymore.
I left the abuse by moving to a new department but managers still suck.

yes we are in charge of our attitudes. I decided to have a better attitude. To do that , one thing I needed to do was remove myself from an abusive situation. Because at some point no matter how hard you try you just cant be up beat amidst constant abuse. Or at least for me i could no longer do it and after many many years of rolling over and taking the abuse I left Sams. Sams could be a great place to work but the managers insist that it must be miserable and if someone tries to be upbeat they'll beat it out of them. Alas I am free......

ATTITUDE
by
Charles Swindoll

"The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life.  Attitude, to me, is more important than facts.  It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think, say or do.  It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill.  It will make or break a company... a church... a home.  The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we embrace for that day.  We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way.  We cannot change the inevitable.  The only thing we can do is play the one string we have, and that is our attitude... I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it.
And so it is with you... we are in charge of our Attitudes”
