Thread regarding Pearson PLC layoffs

National Labor Relations Board ruling yesterday about non-disparagement clauses

Yesterday, the National Labor Relations Board passed guidelines prohibiting employers from silencing displaced or laid-off employees from speaking freely through the threat of withholding their severance.

In the past, Pearson's severance agreements have included this language.

Just to be safe, I wouldn't publicly say anything bad about Pearson until your severance period ends. Even then, be careful.

Pearson sucks the footlong. After a decade of hard work, they whacked me right after my mother died. I hope all those involved in that decision burn in he-l for eternity.

Not in the past. It’s in the current severance verbiage too.

@1bqh+1llvA5lB - it was historically part of the onboarding packets. I’m not sure if it was kept once HR was offshored.

Does Pearson make you sign any short of nondisclosure agreement? Asking for when it's my turn.

You’re still getting downsized.
