Getting hit with incredibly bad insurance, loss of PTO time, float days, after looking over the new benefits I am shocked at what we're offered. Still need to make it through next week with a offer letter from optum to see if we still have jobs.

Considering UHG was reported to make $14B in profits last year, you'd think they could give their employees better options and possibly $0 premiums. Instead, they pad their coffers off their employees too, all while offering a cr---y network that doctors want no part of.
It’s only two more weeks guys. I hope we all get our transition letters and we can breathe a sigh of relief?
For my same coverage with United my premiums are almost doubling. United’s network isn’t as strong as Anthem’s at least for where I live.
I don't find the insurance rates pathetic, especially with the health credit they offer. I'm actually going to have a little extra in my pocket. That said, it's just me on the insurance.
The PTO change is a bummer (I have DTO now), but it's not catastrophic.
As for the insurance provided, PTO, 401K transitions, matching etc. they are pretty pathetic. Just so UHG....it's no wonder so many folks dislike/hate working for this company. Offer letters begin to hit on March 6 so we all get to live in fear for another couple of weeks. This is like never ending root canal surgery.
Let’s hope we have offer letters so atleast we have a job before applying to other places. For me. I’m waiting until one year but if the sh-t starts getting bad I’m looking before that.
Im starting to apply right this weekend actually
