Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

DXC Connect Insurance

DXC Connect Insurance was a huge success wherein our executives and technologists showcased our leading edge BPS and Insurance solutions. Customers were thrilled and yes we are turning the corner. Great momentum.

This is the same corner that was said was being turned 5 yrs back. There is no momentum to even turn the ship upright, let alone move it forward and around corners. I've seen more momentum from an asthmatic ant carrying heavy shopping.

DXC Connect was an industry conference for the insurance vertical. Same old tired products now being offered in the cloud, converted to a COBOL/JAVA hybrid. All the product got rebranded a while back with the "ASSURE" monika. Bunch of "A-S" thats for "SURE". Tired products for tired customers. BPS used to be ok but a lot of legacy book in run off. BPS acquisitions have been squeezed so hard financially that morale is low. The CTO was pushed out a while back during the big purge, when Sal's playbook said customers wanted ITO not future tech. The head of insurance was ghosted out a long time back, in typical DXC fashion. Here today, never mentioned again tomorrow. They salvaged a couple of deals like Lloyds with the usual cost cutting and false promises of investing in tech. Some of the big insurers wouldn't do business with Mikey I, once they saw Mikey 2's true colors they won't deal with him either. Just another part of DXC that is circling the drain. At least some customer got some hospitality along the select DXC few. Rumor has it at some of their regional events there used to be more staff than customers. Just a slightly better waste of money than Man U sponsorship

DXC Connect in the story is a small infrastructure org bought by CSC Aus, dont know how they fit with GIS. DXC Connect for insurance is 5th grade science project for NA.
