Thread regarding Pearson PLC layoffs

Last minute retention manager meeting?

Not sure if it's our id--t leader being deaf to the fact that employees don't like spur of the moment meetings with no agenda, or if layoffs are coming. The constant stress isn't worth it anymore!

Andy will have to rewrite the severance agreements after yesterday's ruling by the National Labor Relations Board banning non-disparage agreements.

They told coaches that they needed to focus on phone calls and the RMs would handle all the paperwork and nonsense. The coaches will be next. I hope most of the RMs do not apply for the appeasement roles. They are a slap in the face for every employee.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw the meeting pop up on my calendar hours before. Quite frankly what they’re putting retention through is ridiculous, especially with all the added nonsense of implementing last minute things on the coach’s and by extension, retention managers’ plates. We all knew it was coming but I’m wondering if I should just take the severance and not even bother.

Layoffs. Plus Elena was cut and Sashas email was awfully cold.
