Layoffs throughout Recruitment Services today. It didn't matter if they improved performance, they cut staff after a massive hiring increase 4 months ago. Morale was sh-t and this adds more fuel to the fire.

You are foolish to believe the metrics in Recruitment Services haven't been created to eliminate non performing and performing EAs.
“as long as you are doing well in your calls and meeting the needs of the company you have nothing to worry about, but as in any job, nothing is promised”
You think POLS is bad now? Just wait till it gets acquired. That’s when the real fun starts.
i received info that an employee that was hired with pearson during the hiring spree months ago, inquired about QA instead of RS back in january and QA warned her that the company was going to be laying people off due to the company selling, but management wanted to say they knew nothing about it until the day before lay offs.
@1hjm+1ljl7SXq To quote the great Judge Smails from Caddyshack. “Well the world needs ditchdiggers too.”
Ah yes, after going on a hiring spree the last few months, POLS showed who they are. Hire less qualified, lower paid workers to try and make the division more appealing to investors during this strategic review."Look this business venture is booming as we continue to hire", as the devil is smiling.👹 The new hires are pawns that will be sp-t out soon with no severance obligation when there is a change in ownership. Get rid of over 20 employees (more to come) and cite position elimination/non performance based on unrealistic metrics in place. Target established employees and demand releases be signed within a few days to receive severance. How ironic that a National Labor Relations law just passed two days ago that employers no longer can strong arm an employee relating to severance. POLS has simply been a disaster since its inception. ASU finally waived goodbye and will be free in June. Using a 15 year old profit school playbook never works. It's just comical that KB and most managers get to retain their jobs given they are the true failures. These individuals point the finger and blame lower level employees to cover up their st#pidity. There is a knock at the door, look its Karma.
The metrics in Student Services is helping the management eliminate employees without severance. I am so sorry for the RS team. I hope the severance package is worth it and everyone finds a better job asap.
Hope those who were let go today land on their feet
Didnt hear anything about this today. Ugh.
