I worked for DXC on the UK MOD SAN team as a tech lead, I was made redundant in Jan 2018. Around 9 months ago, one the the team leaders on that account, asked if I would be interested in going back. My reply, "I'd rather hang breeze blocks from my te------s"

@3lfa+1ljU13vY is right - DXC was making tons of money (literally cash cow) by providing Storage service to our customers aka rack stack operate Peta bytes of storage which comprises of thousands of SAN frames from all vendors. With the advent of cloud this segment has drastically reduced and so our business. The DXC execs have understood this and pivoting to GBS business (aka away from GIS). As usual most of the guys don't understand long term strategy and keep harping about SAN and GIS business. Please wake up and smell the coffee.
SAN is dead, who would say such a thing. You do know the cloud runs on SAN don’t you?
Same as suneks salary. SAN is dead and we are still in olden days
What did they offer you? I'd have been tempted to consider it if between jobs if only to throw it in their face when something better comes along
