Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

How is this legal!?!

I am a front line adjuster and there are processors sending correspondence to customers and contractors using my signature. Wtf!?
Seems like an attorney would have a field day with that! Mind you these people are not licensed

This is what we, processors, are told to do. It is what it is

Its correct, and likely the poster is a new hire new to insurance.

Outgoing correspondences go out in the name of the claim handler. In cases where there is no main handler owning the claim, any processor name will do, it doesnt matter.

Also the system will track who sent it, in case some processor writes a DOI complaint worthy letter in your name and sends it out.

This is quite common and aligned with the movement of adjusters work to India and to the vendors later in 2023 and 2024. This is in part how they can move adjusting work overseas. And they have licensed many in India for adjusting labeling them as "extensions" on on shore based claims departments.

You would be bi--hing if you had to send these regulatory letters yourself.

All they are sending are compliance letters that are already approved by legal.

It's not like they are free forming responses on your behalf
