It's terrible how this place takes the loss of institutional knowledge so lightly.
Cuts are expected as a part of a merger, however, what is really worrying is if the best ones continue to be cut, while bad employees get to keep their jobs.

Yep. People selected to be cut were the ones who cost $$ and didn't fall into line and bothered to ask questions or push back. Our senior org is now extremely homogenous
