Former MUFG employee here. I call the number, they say I have to start online. I go online and all the buttons to start the pension process have been removed. Attempting to project my pension results in an “eligibility error.” Great. Thanks, USB. Exactly what I expected, honestly.

Kind of fake news. I’m not even eligible because I’m not vested yet and I could see all of the options today. Maybe checked your technology

Did you login to Total Rewards and check under Savings & Retirement option? I see my MUB (MUFG) pension moved to USB.
Yes. I can see my pension there, but there are no options to start the process to remove it. The instructions I was given when I called said I should log on, go to retirement hub, then “pension choices,” then start the process, but I literally don’t have the “pension choices” options. There are no links for anything of the sort, I can literally only see the amount, no other options. When I called they were pretty confused as if they didn’t know how to handle the MUFG pension. It’s almost like it’s locked. I downloaded the “retirement checklist” as suggested, but all it does it tell me to initiate via the non-existent “pension choices” links. I have an appt scheduled with a USB “retirement counselor” next week so hopefully that will be more helpful than the several other people I’ve spoken to. I even called MUFG - they were unable to help as all of that is now in the hands of USB. Such a nightmare.
