It's not easy to deal with being laid off. It can be a total shock to your system when it happens, leaving you feeling uncertain and uneasy about what the future holds. I've been through it three times and it doesn't get easier. But here's the good news - there's always a silver lining to be found. Losing your job can open doors to better opportunities down the line. It happened to me. So even though it may feel tough right now, stay positive. You'll get through this and be better off for it.

It’s sad that the entire US job market
Is illogically biased against the 50+ worker which is pathetic. The society has deranged to a point that most executives do not have any accountability and get away with a sorry or say they are learning 😀- the executives who made bad decisions need to be punished - tolerating bad executives or treating them like celebrities and looking at them with awe is a part of the servile sycophantic syndrome which all employees need to recover from.
When you're on your 50's or beyond and suddenly laid off, it's certainly is painful. It's very difficult to compete with the very talented young ones. It's always better to leave on your own terms; i.e., find other jobs when you don't need it.
