Why do we keep handing out positions to people who haven't earned them? It only takes months if not weeks to figure out they're completely unqualified. This keeps happening over and over again and it's frustrating to watch. It's not fair to the rest of us who have to work with that person and pick up their slack.

I tell people I am still at Avaya and they look confused and then sympathetic and speak to me slowly like I'm d-mb.
soon to be the Desolation Place to Work
What about the "Heads of..." Crew? Most are no where near Director level, yet prefer to imply they are nearly C Level with the damn Head of moniker they give themselves.
Sorry...you are an individual contributor. Not a Head of anything other than checking off your KPIs.
Avaya has more "Directors of" than customers, and as for that Distinguished Architect nonsense, filled a load of telephony patents in 90s and are now dictating to teams on the cloud
A-M-E-N!
Can we get a Holy Week Miracle?
If you think that having to work with a newly hired unqualified person is bad, try reporting to a newly hired unqualified manager who believes that he and/or she deserve, and has earned, their fancy new title.
Good way to give somone willing to learn. No one left to teach them anything. Anyone with vision or understanding of avaya product got let go
Ha. Yes. That is the perfect example to showcase Avaya doesn't retain 'talent', they retain the desperate misfit dolls -- you know the expression (missing parts, etc). Talent knows too much to go along with the ridiculous, so talent is first on the list to go (and often most expensive to retain).
Unfortunately we can't afford real talent any more, drop out college rejects are more than happy to come to a destination place to work 🤣🤣🤣🥵
Are you saying it's not ok to give someone a job b/c of what they Tell Us they Claim to Be vs What they Really Are?
Don't we give gold 🥇⭐ for mastering editing software or declaring their own book of the month club only after going down in flames making a fool of themselves on the stage in Atlanta?
Experience and qualifications are based on sending ourselves messages that we can crop and post to showcase false accolades. On the day hundreds lose their jobs I reminded you all that I am also the customer and you should appreciate ME! Also, it is about looks, but only if you judge them based on the heavily edited versions and not on what I really look like in person, as sometimes we have a bad hair day in person. And if you call me out for confusing my role to be a Mary Kay Salesperson, I will remind you that I am smart by declaring myself to be smart on socials, therefore I am brilliant! I am super classy, but it not if you 100% agree, and if not I know how to rumble!
How dare you question the " Future Force " - LOL.
Hey! This is a “Destination place to Work”, if you don’t like it leave!
