I got the call and they were willing to pay me 70 percent more than my last pay at dxc
re-hire... re-fire... retire...the DXC saga goes on.
The death throes of this sorry excuse of a company is going to be excrutiatingly painful for everyone (except M2 and his cronies).
On a serious note, if you get a call for re-hire, just tell them that they should provide you continuous employment from your previous stint (i.e. discount the break in between for the purposes of calculating years of service) and see the reaction.... when they realise that they would need to potentially pay 15-20 years of redundancy should they decide to re-fire you after 3 months !!
DXC: "Hi, I'm from DXC and I'd like to rehire you"

Wonder I'd they will do it to Micky Salvino from $28million to $3million, saving $25 million of the bottom line.
If the same was applied across the rest of the Ex Accenture gang there could be a $40 million saving.
That would be a transformational journey and profit growth.
Not a new thing. They try to hire you for less than you were making when you were made redundant.
Now THAT is definitely a HATE CRIME !! Anyone who hires back into the chithole known as DXC is a glutton for punishment.
My sympathies for anyone who agrees to be re-hired
