F5 rarely ever does layoffs except for the beginning of new fiscal years with re-orgs. essentially, just make sure you are aligning to business goals and a high performer.

Not true. Layoffs occurred last year after a reduction in the ceiling for PTO of 70 hours. This month, they lowered it 50 more hours-- and anything over that ceiling became use it or lose it.
yes, but was that at the end or beginning of a fiscal year? say sept/oct? that is what I was referencing.
What? They did plenty of layoffs when I was there. It was almost a yearly thing where they would bring in new management teams.
