There are so many nasty comments here that are made either by trolls or home office shills. The rest of us come here for support or information and don’t appreciate being told to get over it. I mean wow. The nastiness of the comments is hard to take.
I know for sure, that management reads these posts, because I referred to one and my manager said that was on the layoff. This is a post for employees. Trolls and home office shills - just go away!

Just because this forum isn't some self affirming echo chamber for the constant complaining about having to work an entire day, doesn't make it "shilling" or "trolling." There are countless, perfectly legitimate reasons to be critical of the direction this company is headed. But this forum has turned into infantile whining in recent months, and it's exhausting.

I got a pay decrease but received confirmation I’ll be employed at Allstate through the end of 2023 then transferred to a vendor who will reorganize the company and not offer severance so I’m pretty happy with Allstate at this point since my boss likes to yell at me and make me feel like a ja----f.

Boomers @ work taught you everything you know, Boomers still working because the millennial- gen x children have not moved out of the house yet. Time to grow up and get a taste of the real world. Never having the privilege of your employer appreciating you and working for a company 20 to 30 years and earning a retirement is your loss and now reality. The time will come soon when the work force will wake up and put Corporate America in its place.
This isn’t a place for kool-aid drinking employees like yourself…..this is a forum to opine on anything to do with Allstate and how they handle employees and RIF decisions. Everyone with half a brain knows where Allstate is headed, we just with they were more honest about it.
