I've never felt so disrespected in all my life as I have working at Allstate. It's like people don't care about each other or their work one bit. There's no sense of community or teamwork, everyone is out for themselves. The way people talk to each other is downright rude and hurtful. I don't think I'll be able to stand to work here long-term.

I’m amazed at the nastyness being put in emails! And no repercussions either. It is a rough place for sure.
I think I'm super lucky to work in a department where we all truly like each other. Our CSL cares and does what he can for us. We're sheltered from a lot of the cr-p that is referenced on here. Some of us were impacted in the BS from Transformative Growth and found ways back in. I'll never bleed Allstate Blue again, but I can certainly deal with this day to day. If I were 20 years younger, can't say that I'd make the same decision. The culture has changed. Tom has always been Tom, but Glenn screwed us hard. Claims needs to be gutted and built back up in the USA...not Pune.
I’ve been working at allstate for 15 years and it’s been a struggle to stay. I have to take an antidepressant & anxiety pills and don’t think I can stay either. They will fire me soon for not meeting production goals and I am not an-l enough to hit the time clock 4 times a day. Put all you do in work flow tool without 1 second between jobs. Then they’ll send my job to India. It’s those plan to make us quit so they done lose money work unemployment and get bad press for their global workforce
I dislike almost all of my co-workers and I tell them so whenever I can, I also send emails to people which are vulgar in nature in the hope IT notices they forwarded them or something similar which could lead to their termination.
Not sure why you expect anything less from a Chicago Sc-mbag CEO. We all know what kind of people come from Chiraq.
Weak wimps
Honestly it wasn’t THAT bad until Tom and Glen decided we needed to take a personality test to see if we should be retained or laid off during a pandemic. I have PTSD. The public needs to know of this travesty! They have an antagonistic attitude toward employees, considering us (temporarily) necessary evils. Run from this evil corporation as fast as you can!
It’s definitely not normal. Too bad there’s no Union to help the little people. It’s absolutely obscene that TW has made 15Million+ sustained for over 20 years on the backs of his serfs. Now he has new ones in India. The culture here is toxic and try’s to brainwash workers. Stay awake not woke. Retention of employees and customers is in the toilet. Thanks to all the corruption and greed at the top. Terrible place to have landed. We need a new and improved methodology stat otherwise bye bye Allstate customers and all. And Mayhem is a horrible spokesperson and sends the wrong message post pandemic. Get out if you can.
