Now all it only be me and the store director and everyone else is either transferring or forced to quit. What about all the other things the managers did?? What about rush? How are we going to manage a sales floor when the GM manager was laid off??

Stores are going to see much more static floor sets. Not as much “rush prep”, more, stay ready so you don’t have to get ready. Open the store, greet customers, close the store.
The vibe I'm getting is that's what James River wants.
The people at the top have no idea what it is to run a store. They are absolutely clueless.
Now we have manager (or the lesser Campus Store Lead) duties to do on top of all the online order pulling, shipping, facing the store, stocking, cashiering, loss prevention, checking in freight, the list goes on and on.
When RUSH hits... people will literally close the doors and walk out. If they haven't already.
