Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Since the company monitors this site…

Some things you should know about your employees:

  1. many of your remote workers brag about only working a few hours per day
  1. many of these workers are….senior leaders who are bonus eligible
  1. your onboarding program is absolute trash and it’s widely known….many of the issues involve your remote worker setup
  1. this comes from someone who worked for you for 16 years and has been with two other carriers and has a ton of contacts all over your company.
  1. from a strategy standpoint as well as a sales and claims standpoint, very few believe there’s a relevant strategy in place UNLESS it’s aimed at some sort of sale.

@2gwc+1lLvWPxx It most certainly is a requirement. Which department are you in? Because if we don’t use our cameras or have a good reason not to, the issue it against is come review time. It’s also required that we participate in discussions and engage as a unit.

Our team has not used cameras for huddles or meetings at all since going full remote. If your team is then you have those weirdo leaders that for some reason get off on looking at you.

Having a camera on is certainly not a requirement

You are required to have your camera on as a remote employee.

@1txp+1lLvWPxx Please tell me the work around. Seems to me they know exactly when I am f’ing off and when I’m not. I’m intrigued. How do you avoid Rona’s?

If you are glued to your desk while working from home with the inept leadership and easily manipulative work tracking garbage they like to threaten us with then you are either stupid and not capable of going around that. Or you sold your soul to this sewer of a company and enjoy the misery. Either way you're just pathetic.

You can call bs all you want. I couldn’t care less. Fact is efficient adjusters have the autonomy to do the bare minimum and pull it off. Not saying these are quality employees but with the current culture here I don’t blame them.

Ugh, they track when we aux in and out and Ronas. We’re glued to our desks.

I work about 4-5 hours max. I do the bare minimum. The rest of the time it’s 4:20. Love WFH!

I agree with the OP. I am in claims and personally know of over a dozen co-workers that have a second job and do just the minimum here. The claims department has devolved into garbage. The response above about taking care of people is straight trash. We are literally set up for failure day in and day out.
Yes, we can take care of some customers but there are so many that are left out to dry. Just check our customer satisfaction rating and explain the massive drop.

I love this company and I love my job in claims. Helping people is a great way to spend everyday. Please stop with the fake news.

How can people not work if they are monitored about being on inquiry or aux? Who are you talking about - certainly no one in claims!
