Reading that email, the conclusion is that the leaders are nothing more then bullies.
How do you deal with bullies? Kneel before them, or knock some teeth out and put them on their a-s?

No regrets, no remorse, no guilt and no recourse?
No mercy.

Gaslighting from start to finish, peppered with a few blatant falsehoods.
No admission of how wrong they were to implement this policy in the first place.
Not a word about how wrong they were to double-down on it last winter when it was obvious to everyone that the jabs were good for nothing.
Not a word about the people that were "separated" for no good reason because they wouldn't take the jab or beg for an accommodation. They were screwed out of careers, and she/hers is unrepentant.
Also, any health issues that result from the jab is still on you, not T-Mobile. That wasn't walked back. Better hope you got an inert jab, since we still have no idea of the long-term consequences of these things. What we've seen is bad enough, not that she has the courage to even acknowledge this obvious reality.
Also, not a word about consequences for the people who faked their vaccine status. They are getting away with it. It pays to lie at T-Mobile.
Since it does pay to lie, fake your positive tests asap to get a week or two off. Lying doesn't matter to the leaders so get on with it.
What's very, very funny, is that as she exhorts everyone to still take the jabs, on the exact same day, today, the Moderna CEO testified to Congress about how demand for the jabs is dropping by 90%. How d-mb does she think you are? How clueless is she/hers?
You really wonder if Deanne, Sievert and the other SLT members realize how they look to everyone. Gutless, naturally, but add on stupid and incompetent for going down this road in the first place. Obviously, they don't care. That is to be expected, along with the gaslighting in the message today.
The anti-vaxxers were right and they were wrong. They are such small, petty people that they can't bring themselves to even admit it.

Team –

I’m reaching out today to share an update on our vaccination policy. We’ve entered a new phase of the pandemic, where cases, serious illness, and death rates have declined dramatically. In the U.S., cases and hospitalization rates have decreased significantly, by as much as 70% since January 2022 (CDC), and the Department of Health & Human Services says it will end the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency in May. This is great news for the health and safety of Team Magenta and our communities.

Therefore, on April 1st, 2023, we’re updating our vaccine policy to adjust for this new phase of the pandemic. We will no longer require vaccination to work at T-Mobile or to enter T-Mobile buildings. This shift follows changes from other industry leaders, partners and customers that have already moved to mixed environments. All of our retail stores and many of our CECs and offices are successfully operating with mixed environments today.

When we implemented our original vaccine policy, vaccination was the most effective means to protect our team. Simply put, it was the best way to keep this team safe. Today, many more preventions and treatments exist and are more widely available. The world has changed, and we’re updating our policy to reflect that.

We still strongly encourage all employees and their families to get vaccinated and boosted. Vaccination is the best and most effective way to prevent serious illness and death from COVID-19. We will continue to contact trace and offer free on-site vaccination in all of our major offices. As always, we maintain our commitment to keeping this team safe and healthy. For questions, visit our Stay Healthy Together site on T-Nation or reach out to Employee Care.

With this change, I know one of the main questions we'll hear is whether we're continuing our hybrid work policy. The answer is yes! With hybrid work, we get the best of both worlds - we have greater flexibility, we can tap into new talent, we can create team experiences, and we can elevate voices regardless of where they're working - at home, another office, in the field. Like many of you, I'm enjoying the flexibility this new normal brings, and I'm seeing the impact that team effectiveness has on our success. So, as a reminder, teams assigned to a T-Mobile office are expected to work from the office the majority of the time – at least three days on-site each week for most employees, and four days each week for executives (Director and above). Many teams are already doing a fantastic job, and in some areas, we've still got work to do.

We appreciate this team’s commitment to working as One Team, Together, and we’re excited to welcome the full team back into the office.
