Thread regarding ConocoPhillips layoffs

Decisions are based on personal choices

The list of layoffs is long and many have been forgotten. Careers and lives have been ruined for many. For others careers and fortunes have been secured. Many involved in the decisions do their best to make fair choices but increasingly, the decisions are based on personal choices of management and HR. Competition is eliminated. Corporate memory is erased. The skeletons in the closet vanish. A unimaginable future of wealth is secured for the few. Paradoxically, in an age of inclusion, the outliers and non-conformists are cut thus eliminating approaches and viewpoints that don’t fit inside the increasingly narrow boundaries of what is acceptable.: @6cpf+1lCDWoEb

  • . . um someone chose poorly and is feeling a need for validation.

(Seriously though friend there are ways to mitigate and get it to bind to the foreign proteins and expel from the body, info is out there)

That is quite a word salad, OP. Let me summarize.

“I am socially inept crybaby that has abdicated all critical thinking to pundits who want to sell me supplements and anti-woke flip phones.”

Take a double dose of horse paste for me today.

Forget casual Friday, we need tin foil hat Tuesday!
Incredible that some of you folks work in a field that requires critical thinking skills.

pfoul-chi = science and as you know the science is settled and its so settled they needed to conceal it for 75 years

read RFK jr's book, they must get the 5-11 yr olds to keep the EUA or else they are liable and have to tell how toxic it is

There is a growing gap in society we're seeing it all around us now, between people who operate off facts and logic vs people who operate off pure emotion and media narratives.

A society where lies are rewarded and the truth is punished is not a sustainable one.

I reached a successful “in the know” level before I “retired”. I can tell you the Peter Principle is alive and well at ConocoPhillips, the Brown Nosers are over-valued, and leadership takes care of itself in terms of compensation. I left with my soul intact.

Anti-science? lol . . . . .what did the v@x get you? Heightened risk for Covid? False sense of security? Relief from your crippling fear stoked my media?

Did you get covid? I did too, 2 times, and guess what. . . . I am here typing this response to your ridiculous post just as you are reading my astute response. I take care of my body, stay in shape, eat decently. . . . .those were the true hedge against the virus.

Anti-science types like the previous 2 posters are exactly why this company is faltering. Don’t believe actual facts and figures. Just go with your gut and untrained opinion. Good job!

That was a traumatic event that will stay with me the rest of my career that the company didn't have the backs of those with a different viewpoint about their OWN PERSONNAL health decisions. Really hits home in this day and age of 'inclusion' and 'diversity'. Reminder those only are about race and not thoughts or opinions. We have seen what focus on those can do to a company - think SVIB and their Chief Risk Officer.

Wild times these 2020s are. . . .

And the company may push woke ideology, but I will not subscribe to woke beliefs. . . no matter the outcome. I was 2 weeks away from losing my job in 2021 when we were going to force everyone to get the sh0t as that went against my belief (which turned out to be 100% accurate)
