Being truthful with employees is a hallmark of good management. Yet it seems that Intel is doing the opposite by intentionally withholding information about what's truly going on from us. This lack of transparency causes many of us to start feeling uncertain and anxious, which in turn affects productivity. Or in fewer words, our leadership is useless.

Employees should realize that if the layoffs didn't get leaked ahead of time, Intel management would've kept everything under wraps and then they would've "dropped the bo-b" on employees in mid-January.
However, I also think if it hadn't leaked, management would've done a much better job of identifying specific projects/groups/employees to cut.
:-) You are funny! "Pat is a good Christian. He'd never be deceitful, greedy or bear false witness." LOL!
Do you really expect Pat to admit he is a pathological liar?
But Pat is a good Christian. He'd never be deceitful, greedy or bear false witness.
But it's one of the Intel Core Values! /s
