Millersburg, pa letting people go. 2 rounds so far. They said a 3rd will be coming. We are all scared. We like it here.
Can somebody provide more info on the third round? Is this referring strictly to Millersburg or will it be throughout the company? I hate this uncertainty.
Millersburg site just had it's 4th round of layoffs. This site is speculated to close before 2025.
There was a third round of layoffs at Grand Island on April 6th, letting go of some people with more that 15, 25, and 35 year with the company and many others 5+ years. Loyalty to a company gets nothing. The rumor is that more layoffs are coming. My guess is that layoffs will continue the following the close of each quarter, after the corporate drones get their numbers. Remember Thermo’s only loyalty is to its stockholders, not its employees.
There has been no talk of a "3rd round".
We have slowed down a little at the end of the quarter at the Lebanon TN facility, but no talks of layoffs. Were actually projected to grow this year.
