Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Area to reduce head counts

Pat mentioned ethical AIs multiple times on his twitter feed.

Intel truly needs a person who knows his/her stuffs.

On one of the IntelOn events, he posed for a photo with a robot dog. But he is one who shut down realsense. It was very not genuine.

Maybe Elon Musk is a better CEO candidate for Intel.

I don’t have strong feelings about that woman, but would you send a minor across the country, or even to the local party school? At least if she is laid off, she can go to grad school and still not be behind.

Extension school for both degrees!?! So embarrassing, that place lets everyone sign up. So many clout chasers take extension school classes just to put Harvard on their resumes. I have to assume that she didn't get into somewhere better, or else she would have done her master's elsewhere.

How does it feel to know that all of us tech workers contributed to technologies that will not only replace a lot of workers, but has significant potential for abuse.

I miss the olden golden days of computing, when it was more of a curiosity than mainstream. Machine learning and AI should be ilegal.

The words "Intel" and "ethics" shouldn't appear in the same sentence. Unless of course it is "Intel has absolutely no ethics".
