Block Scheduling

When are the block schedules being re-set? We were told they were being “re-set” and that each associate would be talked to individually about it. Is this in all Clubs?

Market People Partners are enforcing schedule adherence and terminations for 5+ points associates right now. So no surprise they are fixing clubs with messed up block schedules.

"Our store is making all full timers work every weekend no more Saturday or Sundays off unless you use pto and if it’s even approved"

Just another way of trying to force full timers out. Is the club manager including himself? If not, he should. As a manager he needs to lead by example.

Should get weekends off if you have worked at Sam’s 20 plus years or more. Would be a good way to show some appreciation for sticking around so long. But that’s probably why we don’t get weekends off because they want us gone.

They won’t force you to change you’re current schedule unless you want to.

HR for our district visited with the managers this week at our club checking for points and block schedule. All full time will be required to work Saturday unless using PTO. Everyone will have same two days off every week. Manager giving the more senior associates their choice on their days off.

I believe it was only $150 million + clubs doing this, although I never heard about the four day week option.

I don’t want a 4 day week. Who the fu-k wants to work 10 hour 4 days. No. 8 hours I’m done.

if you had three days off they would not be together... think Monday Wednesday and Friday one week and the next would be tues thurs Saturday etc... except for a guy in our club who threatened to leave when they told him he needed to work harder... they let him work part time monday through thursday 6-2 friday saturday and sunday off every week... and does not have to meet work standards.... 6407

Wish they would do a 4 day work week. Four ten hour days. So we could have 3 days off and there wouldn’t be a gap in coverage between morning and evening shift. Plus each shift could communicate with each other.
