Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Hey Intel Execs, Take Some Responsibility!

I've seen multiple execs in other companies take personal responsibility for layoffs. All I've heard from multiple Intel Execs is "Macroeconomic headwinds BS". Admit that you've made some mistakes at least. Noone is expecting you to be perfect, but this is a common fallacy to blame external factors for problems, and take personal credit when things are going well: https://www.verywellmind.com/what-is-the-self-serving-bias-2795032
Let's face it, this company you execs inherited was a cash cow, now take some credit for the mistakes you've made, be specific and do it publicly, and try to be humble even when things are going well.

Mgmt are still going on multiple ''business'' trips each month..and coming back to office showing us pictures of the fun they had during touristy activities.

Each time they visit a country, the local sales team dropped all work to focus on prep for meetings(writing pre trip briefings, plan internal Ops reviews etc etc). We need to spend more time wirh customers and partners for business, not pampering these 'Execs'' fun trips.

They come and go without any real contributions to the local teams and customers.

They need to cut down on Exec trips, and leave the TAs back in office to work.

Top management goofs up and the individual contributors pay the price for the mistakes.

Responsibility?!?

How about a 100% pay cut. A dart throwing gorilla could make decisions that would’ve run the company into the ground, and he only expects bananas in return, not sucking the lifeblood dry to feed its egosingher.

Government give me money so I can execute a broken strategy.

It was the economy not my broken culture, give me more money
