The only reason they aren't laying off huge swaths of people is because they don't have the personnel to handle the off-boarding processes. They have to do them in waves. More waves are coming, rumor has it 50%-75% will be let go in the end. But at least I got a month's notice and a decent severance package.

This type of action is exactly why we need to have employee organization and protections - noone whose bonus is affected by the accquistion cares one wh-t about people being laid off, they don't have to worry about paying their bills

And the reason why the majority of CEO's are borderline sociopaths. Perfect example here is Neil got his and forgot about all the employees UH wanted for their experience and laid off following the acquisition.

Executives that make these decisions to meet or beat wall street numbers should be required to have breakfast with all these families they disrupt.

Neil want to have breakfast?

It's truly a sad state of affairs. Corporate greed. It wasn't about the business it was about buying the name and the data - that's the whole precipice for the transaction. Change Healthcare WAS a great organization - it WAS a good brand with good people. This transaction has destroyed it all.

My understanding March 9th there will be another round of notifications. The worst part about change to me has always been you never know when you'll be laid off cause I've seen so many throughout my years. Blessed to still be employed
