For the sake of curiosity, how many Mexican car companies or innovative companies were formed or are currently based in Mexico like Boeing, IBM, Apple, Google, Space X, Vestas Wind.... etc. Don't get me wrong, thing against M or the workers of M but there is just not a strong innovative culture there. At F it's easy to see this when trying to find or develop an innovative or unique solution to a problem - it seems like M is mostly focused on just going from point A to B and not thinking outside the box or line. Should F take this into account before mortgaging the house.........?
The thing that cracks people up. JF (LEGEND) tells the press we have too many people. then turns around in September brags about Ford looking to hire 9k Mexican engineers. So what he is not telling you is those NA are to expensive..
Ford has 9 PD centers around the world. What does Legend know about developing cars? Since he has been at Ford we lost Market share and we exited car segments. So I guess he was not the smartest man in the room.
