Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Left DXC on Friday

Well I left DXC, took a new position for a heck of a lot more money. I'm a road man now, travelling around and working on computers for a state agency that will remain nameless. I was burned out on working remote with very poor guidance and Knowledge Base articles.

  1. .. it just wasn't going anywhere for me there so I took a step into the unknown. It was a scary move but I don't feel I had a choice. Mr. 'shouty' could care less about the rank and file. There was also some sort of huge restructure going on with the ticket system. I feel sort of like somehow I was fortunate to get a ticket on the last plane out. I think my previous team is going to wind up going down on the DXC titanic.

These are bad economic times granted, but I would get out if you have the option. I don't predict a healthy future for DXC, not based on how they run the contracts.

People get scared to get out and interview. It's not easy. But if you consider the amount of people that maybe leaving the planet from you know "jabado", then there will be shortages everywhere. Get out of your confront zone and get that new BETTER job.

Congrats on your exit. For those of you who are still at DXC for whatever reason, use the above as a role model and prepare for your exit! 2023 should be the mass exodus if you are smart!

Congratulations on your exit - I know when I left, just not having to worry about the constant threat of layoffs was a huge weight lifted.
