Face the facts. Jim Farley is an incompetent leader.
What shocks me is that Bill Ford and the board of directors can’t see Jim’s incompetence.
That says a lot about them.
It's not that people can't see his incompetence, it's that nobody wants to admit they were wrong when they put him in charge. This is about ego, plain and simple. They'll rather let Ford be mismanaged day in, day out than admit they were wrong.
Ford sales will be in the toilet, with high auto financing rates and only for blue chip credit customers. Afford and GM don't do well in times of tight credit. JF and his incompetent leadership need to stop focusing on the shiny object of Tesla who will break all their records in 2023 again with the #1 selling vehicle in the world.
He was incompetent as a program manager at Toyota, but Ford assumed anyone from Toyota was better than anyone they had on the bench. Absolutely wrong!!

Elena Ford is such a great person, having driven under the influence with her kids in the vehicle.
I don't see it this way at all. JF has had great messaging along with BF in our townhalls. I expect tomorrows townhall to be just as cordial and genuine. The Ford+ Plan has been cascaded to all of us many times already and it is a shame that so many of you here are not listening to the facts.

Proof that a King is not Born but he is made. Look at Bills track record. He was fired by his own family in the spring of 06. The Train station, the Lions.. what more proof do you need.

Henry Ford was an amazing business man. But his offspring, with each new generation, are terrible.
That's because Bill Ford himself is too incompetent himself to see it.
He's been the common denominator with Ford and its problems (sans Alan Mulally) the past 25+ years...
You just can't say that out loud nor to him because he's the chairman and the founder's great-grandson.
