ford is like rodney dangerfield
@zga+1l5cUSSR keep drinking the Kool-Aid. The guys track record tells the story on your idol DF. He never stays at a place for more than 5 years. Long term to him is 24 months. As an engineer (EE) I have not been impressed. No long term plan as you proclaim. If so why is every body outside the Ford elite asking to see a viable plan?
If you miss joe get a job at CSX. Much better off.
The only thing DF is invested in is HIMSELF and all the outside Google Tools and purchase service directors / executives he has brought to Ford. Ford family wake up! DF is stealing you blind and destroying the Company! I hope Ford last three more years so I can retire.
Field will flame out like he has done everywhere else and take an another nice golden parachute with him!
The rest of us get to count our severance in thousands. Douggie will count his in millions.
I miss Joe.
Is DF even with Ford now? He is busy transforming Ford from his California location - throwing away a strong brand and its customers in order to court a new customer.
Its the same
These aholes will make pathetic decisions and to cut costs will cut employees and still pocket millions
Cycle repeats
Dead serious question. What ranks higher? Shiny new things or features that actually pass some form of a test?
Doug Field is invested in Ford for the long term. He is one of the architects of the Ford+ Plan and has much incentive to see the company transformation to electrified mobility with segment leading user experiences.
When the transformation is complete, the success it will bring us is definitely worth waiting for.
Four years. Jimmy gets canned, Doug takes his place and history repeats.
