The last time there were significant layoffs the US happened first with EMEA 90 days later due to notification laws.

It’ll keep going until we are attractive enough for another go private. Then EMC (Elliott) or Icahn will start haranguing Cisco. They’ll (Cisco) make cuts and decisions to satisfy the activist investors. Cisco stock plummets. Then one day on an island in Hawaii a deal to acquire Cisco will be hammered out with JP Morgan, Microsoft and Silver Lake all on board. 18 mos later Dell Technologies^2 is born. Saddled with 150 billion in debt. Larry Ellison will be crying wondering why he didn’t think to pull off such a deal.
Settled are you crazy. This stuff has been going on for years. It’s going to get worse.
Just survived a 1x1 with my VP. She said timing varies by country (local labor laws). It'll be a few months till it is done if you're in a country with strict layoff rules. Just speculating, but she's probably talking about EMEA. My impression is the US will be effectively over by the end of this week.
Will go on for months.
I heard cuts in June as well with no package
still on going for sure
So many Dell Employees are whining on Linkdin. Self Pity and crying.
