Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Intel generosity

Whatever your views about intel execution, can't question their generosity and they have proven track record on that.
First they generously donated talent to rest of the industry via ACT/vsp, then they generously donated their market share everywhere to competition, and this year capping all that by generously donating their reputation to disposal via pay cuts. Makes us wonder what they would altruistically donate next

Can’t argue with their generosity when they kicked us all to the curb when times were good.

Sadly like all past great companies the debt levels getting big and delusions getting grander future ACTs will be less generous

As a loyal employee for almost 30 years who was recently impacted by Intel’s CPM actions, and who always bought Intel Inside (and encouraged family and friends to do the same) I’ll be buying my first laptop powered by AMD this week.
