Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

End of year review - are they kidding?

If there are no merit increases until summer 2024 at the earliest why are they even bothering to waste everyone's in 2023 on appraisals?

Stand by for barrage of nauseating swill from HR telling us how important it is.

Anonymous if you want to leave , then leave your not a slave other than that do your job.

I left DXC in Jan 2022 for a better position , 8.7% increase and more vacation time and I love it DXC sucks

@9ssc+1l4gABPN - Those are the actions of someone who has never learnt self-restraint or emotional self control. The February 2022 town hall is a prime example and direct consequence of that.

20% is an optimistic figure. As far as I can see the UK SAP team is now almost all AMS. There’s no way we could deliver a pizza never mind a big transformation piece. Any useful project staff have left for pastures new or been made redundant and now all on more money. It’s absolutely crazy. I never thought anyone could be worse than Lawrie and then Sal turns up!!!

"I've been literally asking to be made redundant for 5+ years and keep getting turned down, so I must be doing something right (or wrong depending on your view)"

I like your style. Everyone should ask for redundancy then the Mikey gang couldn't use it as means of threats, or cuts in order to line the accenture gangs pockets.

They deserve no staff as they don't value employees.

Let's put it this way there's loads of jobs out there on much better pay. Gives us our redundancy pay and we will happily go.

All I meant was liking a question in a townhall is not grounds for dismissal.
They could of course make something else up, but I've been literally asking to be made redundant for 5+ years and keep getting turned down, so I must be doing something right (or wrong depending on your view)

"What possible grounds?"

I can only assume you don't work at DXC if you even ask the question.

And what grounds could he possibly give for their termination if he had carried out his unbalanced desires. Seems a shame to have avoided a chance to challenge DXC over unfair dismissal.

If you only knew how many times Sal has threatened consequences (termination) and demanded a list of names of people who didn’t participate in the engagement survey (remember those?) , or didn’t do their performance assessment, or upvoted what he deemed a “rude” question during a town-hall (remember those?). Fortunately his immediate minions have the sense to try and talk him down but what an effing firedrill

Don’t engage with the review process. Leave all fields blank in Workday and submit it. You’re getting 0% either way. Just don’t waste your time on it.

The reason is that the purpose is not to say how well/poorly you have done. It is to produce a certain percent on the lowest band such that they can be easily Exited

I left DXC in January mainly because of the lack of pay increases , the other reasons was outsourcing jobs to vendors who are useless !

Oh c'mon why is anyone questioning the 20% attrition figure, staff have no reason to lie only leaders. It was definitely on the slide in the Uber Scrum and comes as no surprise to anyone outside of HR, who are the only people who believe anything HR says.

20% figure was mentioned in the UK Uber scrum. Surprised it's not 90% tbh.

Can belive the 20% attrition rate at the workers who actual produce / do the work - been on SAP projects in UK as a German resource

Only the decent ones go after they realise how cr-p this company is, people close to retirement will just sit here, work shy useless managers who just sit there doing zip whilst palming all work of the ones they hate to get rid off and blaming others when things go wrong.

Glad I'm being made redundant from this Company shortly - German tired and angry resource

Hey Gang

There is no pay problem in DXC, your pay comes to my bank account, Mary's Vinnys, Keith's, and the rest of our gang.

All flows well.

Do your ethics, do your appraisals if you want to it's all paper tick boxes, know that whatever you do I'm still going to take your pay.

You get 0% and I deserve 50%, that's how it was last year, that's how it's going to be this year.

And I'm telling you openly now!!!

I see @sjr+1l4gABPN you and I were both in the Uber scrum.

Clearly people's tolerance for DXC pretending there isn't a pay problem is long gone. Never seen so many angry people on a teams chat, it was great :D
