EAST PALESTINE, Ohio (AP) — A reporter was pushed to the ground, handcuffed and arrested for trespassing while covering a news conference about the derailment of a train carrying toxic chemicals in Ohio.
He must have gone off script.
Sadly, truer words have never been typed.
It’ll read like this. “ NS says poorly trained and irresponsible maintenance, track, and transportation personnel were the cause of the train derailment in Ohio. An anonymous source from the company’s top notch, highly educated, and thoroughly moral management team stated.’ Employees responsible for the disaster will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Management at NS has been dealing for years with incompetent, undereducated, morally bankrupt employees who refuse to do their jobs correctly.’ The anonymous stated. ‘We try very hard to be sure all employees identify, report, and fix defective equipment to management. Management always makes sure that every report is corrected, and very often go above and beyond when repairs are made.’ ‘If it weren’t for deadbeat, lazy, incompetent hourly employees, this accident would have never happened. We give them all the time needed to fix problems correctly. If it’s not good as new, we don’t let it back in service.’ A supervisor was reported as saying. ‘We’re all about safety, not numbers or releases.’”
This reporter doubts that will be of much comfort to the residents of this small town.
Has anyone seen the video of the blazing bearing rolling by the H.B.D about 20 miles before the train derailed. I can,t wait to hear them explain this one away.
Derailment is best example of why you need a 2 person train crew. Also don’t need remotely operated trains.
Was there too many heavy cars near rear of train ? RWU website is source. ECP brakes would have been a big help. May God help the local people.
Which supervisor signed off or deleted the faulty axle report ???
The locals are already posting signs on local roads .about NS polluting their water and ki-ling fish, in other news both mains are open.

NS should be forced to pay restitution to every person that was evacuated, and pay all property owners the full market value of their devalued homes including contents, vehicles, equipment, and anything else that has been tainted with chemical toxicity caused by the derailment.
