Dell made money. They made lots of money. They want more & more to pay out to the elites. Wake up!!!
Just remember, Mikey didn’t borrow the money himself to buy back Dell. The borrowed money got hung on Dell Inc’s balance sheet so the company can pay it off. Mikey wins. Shareholders and employees lose. You puppets need to quit praising that greedy b@stard.
First of all, they need to forecast realistic sales revenue. Duh pc sales plummeted from what they were in 2021, to 2022. There was this little "pandemic" thingy that caused people to have to work from home, and they shattered PC sales records. Did they honestly forecast for growth from that number into 2022? Absurd BS designed to excite its shareholders. Zero logic. Of course a business needs to make money, first and foremost. But we see Mike and his foundation pouring money into every woke cause there is. Charity starts at home.
Saul has 52billion net worth he doesn’t care about peons on his plantation.
People forget that the purpose of a company is to make money. The sooner you realize that, the freer and happier you will be. Are some of the cuts a result of poor decisions of others? Of course. But when you work for others you have to deal with the fact that your destiny isn't completely in your control.
I'm sorry if you were one of those cut. I've been there. I don't mean to be cavalier. The uncertainty sucks if you have dependents but you may very well end up in a better place. That better place may not be the very next place you land, but you'll be ok. People who are of value are in short supply.
How’d that Kool-aid taste?
If it was your last name on the building and every unit shipped and the paycheck of every employee, you’d do the same. Businesses exist to make money, not be jobs programs.
