Left the company almost 1 year ago and still have a laptop. I've asked everyone I know of to assist - my old boss, mailing the company cybersec inbox, nothing gets answered. So fu-k it - I've wiped the damn thing and keeping it. thanks for the free laptop guys!

I had to return everything, laptop, monitor, mouse, headset, chair and even a 15+ year old keyboard. There must be a hygiene risk with them reusing chairs and especially headsets.
I found everything they ever gave me, even stuff that was broken and sent that back as well.
If you are returning anything then take a picture or video of the person with each item you give them as they don’t give you a receipt.
I don’t trust DCC…..do you?
Same here, phone, laptop etc. You might have left at the same time as me :-)
Lol my uncollected client laptop is currently acting as a homelab running RHEL. If they don't ask and don't offer they don't get
I had 5 laptops.. when got made redundant..I made sure all got picked up. . I doubt would have got 5 quid each on ebay as so cr@p.
Same situation as OP ex ^%%^%^ manager can't run a tea party in br----l simply kicked me out and it was up to me to send the gear back to DXC with my own money.

Lol I had the same problem, asked repeatedly for them to arrange collection, if they are bothered etc - no answer. Same happened to a mate of mine with an MOD laptop - why should we pay for it?
Format the SSD / HDD and sit on it until they ask for it back, if they even bother. Given the frequent HW refreshes they may just forget. But don't sell it - that is dishonest.
Return it! Make a copy and picture of the package content and the drop of receipt. Otherwise they really may make you pay for it... Check your old contract. There is a clause that says once you leave you have to return all DXC equipment if I remember well... do not give them the opportunity!
Don't be surprised you get an invoice for the laptop. lol.
we did not give any rises to the OP for a while - so it is a parting gift.
